Pay Range: $XXXX-XXXX/weekly (or hourly)
Schedule: 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Every other weekend required, Holidays as needed.
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly. Prior travel experience preferred

Requirements:

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred but not required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR/ BLS
• Prior experience providing nursing care and working with a high degree of autonomy required
• Prior experience in supervising nursing staff preferred
• Experience working in a correctional environment preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

• The ChargeRN is responsible for providing supervision of nursing and support staff on assigned shift in correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients. The Charge RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and mental health needs.
