• Patient care will be provided at both Hospitals and provider will be the medical director at both facilities. 90% clinical, 10% administration
• $550k annual salary, 150k sign on bonus with 3 year commitment, 25k housing allowance, loan reimbursement annually

JOB SUMMARY:

• Anesthesiologist shall provide services in the practice of Anesthesiology within the policies of the Hospital and with consultation and agreement of the surgeon involved with the care of the patient.
• Provide high quality Anesthesiology services within the Hospital
• Provide anesthesia consultation to inpatients and outpatients
• Provide occasional clinical education to members of the hospital staff
• Follow policies, rules and regulations of the Hospital
• Work within applicable standards of the American Society of Anesthesiologists
• Participate in committees and required meetings and undertake the responsibilities of the member of the Medical Staff
• Provide exceptional patient care
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, including observing appropriate break times and extending a scheduled shift when necessary to meet patient demands
• Performs duties in a safe manner, in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Complies with the Code of Conduct and all appropriate policies and procedures
• Other duties that are relevant to the position and department

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Licensed in the State of Maine in the practice of Anesthesiology
• Maintain current federal DEA number
• 10 or more years experience providing anesthesia in acute care setting
• Skill and experience with full range of anesthesia methods
