RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, Monday through Thursday
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekends or holidays required
• No call requirements
• 3+ years of OR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/ACLS
• Patient ratio: 4:1 on a 12-bed unit
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Dress code: Black scrubs required
• Care for overnight surgical patients who had surgery during the day (not PACU)
• Must work well in rapid-paced environment and navigate multiple computer systems
• Provide quality post-operative care with good problem-solving skills
• Work independently while collaborating effectively in team environment
• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
