The position is for a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide remote evening coverage for a multi-hospital health system, interpreting a variety of emergency, inpatient, and routine radiology studies. Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologist to provide fully remote evening coverage for a multi-hospital health system. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general emergency and inpatient radiology modalities, comfortable with a steady case volume, and capable of maintaining a consistent schedule for credentialing requirements.
Responsibilities:- Interpret a variety of general radiology studies, including emergency, inpatient, and routine cases
- Productivity expectation 100 RVUs per shift
- Provide timely, accurate readings across multiple facilities within the health system
- Handle STAT and stroke protocol studies as required
- Maintain productivity expectations in line with shift requirements
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and support teams remotely
- Ensure compliance with credentialing and reporting standards
- Evening shifts (3:00 PM 11:00 PM EST)
- Flexible scheduling available; consistent schedule preferred for privileging
- Coverage includes any holidays that fall within assigned shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Active medical license (Florida preferred or ability to obtain)
- Telehealth/remote radiology experience required
- Familiarity with PowerScribe 4.0 preferred
- Minimum of two years of post-residency experience recommended
- Coverage for multiple hospital sites during each shift
- High-acuity environment (Trauma Level I)
