Locum Tenens: Hospitalist Physician Needed (Near Smiley, TX) Are you a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist Physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Smiley, TX? We're actively searching for skilled physicians to join our team and provide vital hospitalist care on a flexible schedule (ASAP - Ongoing). This locum tenens position offers a temporary assignment with the possibility of extending for up to three months. We offer the flexibility to work up to 7 consecutive shifts, ideally for 2 consecutive weeks per month, allowing you to customize your workload. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and will work diligently to facilitate temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history. Qualifications: Board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) is mandatory. Active medical license and DEA registration in Texas (TX) only are required. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an inpatient hospital setting is preferred. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
