Job Overview
A long-term care facility in Ellensburg, Washington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who is flexible with evening and night coverage and comfortable working extended shifts in a post-acute care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active Washington RN license or compact license (if applicable)
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work variable evening and night shifts, including extended shifts
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
