Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU night shift position requiring OH or compact licensure, trauma, and telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital
• Level 1 trauma setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Tele and vent experience required
• Weekend shifts required: 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Responsibilities include recovery and monitoring of postoperative patients in a trauma PACU environment
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Time-off requests must be included at the time of submission
• Former employees eligible if separated for 6 months or more; current employees are ineligible

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Telemetry and ventilator skills required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager
