This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care Cardiovascular, responsible for delivering holistic nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in a hospital setting. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working 0.75 FTE with rotating 12-hour shifts. Required qualifications include current RN licensure, ICU experience, and certifications such as BCLS and ACLS, with benefits including training and flexible scheduling.
BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to:
ADN: $7,500
BSN: $10,000
This Registered Nurse (RN) will care for the following Critical and Intermediate Care specialties:
- Cardiovascular
- Surgical
- Medical
What You'll Do in This Role:
- Deliver Comprehensive Care: Provide nursing care that is holistic, compassionate, and centered on the individual needs of each patient.
- Exercise Professional Autonomy: Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data.
- Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality.
This position will work the following:
- 0.75 FTE
- 12 Hour Shifts
- Day/Night Rotation
- Every third weekend
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
Must Meet the Following Qualifications:
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current ICU RN with a minimum of 9 months’ experience or within the last year as an ICU RN (equivalent to 1248 hours). Including experience with various vasoactive medications, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Definition: these hours could come from a combination of varied FTE’s or hours worked within the last year to equate to 1248.
