Schedule10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM, with weekends as needed. Candidates must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for, and call may be required.
Job DescriptionThe Invasive Cardiology unit features 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, completing over 6,000 procedures annually. The unit provides advanced cardiovascular treatments, including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist devices, and various structural heart procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in the Invasive Cardiology unit, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and treatment.
- Assist with advanced procedures including TAVR, VAD, ECMO, and cardiac ablations.
- Use Epic for charting and documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a related field.
- Current certifications in ACLS & BLS.
- Proven experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Ability to care for COVID patients and adhere to a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
