Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care for inpatient admissions
- Conduct hospital rounding
- Manage non-invasive and invasive pediatric procedures
- Collaborate with peds nursing staff
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Active certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Preferred skills in pediatric procedures such as ventilation management, intubation, sedation, central and arterial line insertion, and more
Working Hours
- 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Skills
- Proficient in pediatric acute and chronic care
- Skilled in a range of pediatric procedures including intubation and ventilation management
- Competent in interpreting X-rays and EKGs
- Ability to perform conscious and deep sedation, circumcisions, and suturing of minor lacerations
