Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a compact or NC license and required C-section and trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shifts with 4x10 hour schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with one variable day off each week
• On-call required one night per week and one weekend (Saturday/Sunday) during the 13-week contract
• Patient population includes surgical, C-section, and trauma cases, including gunshot wounds
• RNs are responsible for providing perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures including C-sections and trauma cases
• Two professional references needed for consideration
• Local candidates considered at a decreased rate if residing within 50 miles of the facility

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years of OR RN experience required, 4 years preferred
• C-section and trauma/gunshot wound experience required
• Not accepting first-time travelers for this assignment
