American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join an Emergency Department team, requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ER experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes all ages with a variety of acute and emergent conditions
- Scheduled for 12-hour shifts from 15:00 to 03:30
- Weekend and holiday coverage assigned per department needs
- May be required to float onsite within skill set or to locations within a 40-mile radius as needed
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Responsibilities include providing acute care to emergency patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adhering to department protocols
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training (MOAB or CPI) is recommended and must be completed as an 8-hour course, updated every 2 years
- Assignment is 13 weeks with the potential to discuss extension with management 45 days before assignment end
- Holiday shifts are rotated with regular staff
- Candidates may be considered from local areas with rate differences applicable per the facility's radius rule
- Covid vaccination is not required
- Only one position application is allowed per system at a time
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, all must be AHA
- Current TNCC certification required, must be renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required and maintained per group requirements
- Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Candidates must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
