Locum tenens Urology physician needed in Florida for hospitalist coverage, providing in-house daytime care (7a-7p) with night call (beeper 7p-7a) covering two hospital locations on a Tuesday-to-Tuesday schedule two weeks per month; cases include 6-8 rounding patients and 3-4 new consults per day plus OR block time for surgeries at a Level 2 trauma center. Requires Florida medical license, board certification or eligibility within five years, and a clean malpractice history. Position is immediate (March 11 start example) and offered through a staffing firm with weekly pay, malpractice insurance, privileging support, and recruiter assistance.
