Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Patient ratio is 4:1 with a team of 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 patient care technicians per shift
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Floating required to other PCU or telemetry units
- No on-call requirements
- Team-oriented and collaborative work environment
- Responsibilities include providing progressive care nursing in a multidisciplinary setting
- Candidates must be able to provide date of birth for consideration
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
- At least 1 year of recent PCU experience required
- No gaps of 90 days or more in work history within the last 12 months
- US Social Security Number required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
