Job Description
Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Room
Rapidly assess, prioritize, and treat patients with acute and emergent conditions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely care
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per ER protocols
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Education and Certification Requirements
Active New Mexico RN license (or compact license eligible to work in NM)
BLS (Basic Life Support) required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred
Minimum of recent Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred
