The Gastroenterology Physician provides specialized digestive healthcare services including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS while managing a patient load of 15-18 daily. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, participating in hospital call rotations, and engaging in telehealth and nutrition counseling. Candidates must be board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, hold a Georgia medical license, and obtain DEA certification prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional gastroenterological care to patients.
- Manage approximately 15-18 patients per day in a Monday to Friday schedule.
- Participate in a 1:4 single hospital call rotation at Wellstar Spalding.
- Perform various services & procedures, including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and more.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of MD/DOs and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Engage in telehealth services and nutrition counseling.
- Contribute to the advancement of the practice and explore leadership opportunities.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- GA medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history (preferred).
- Recent NPDB report (within 30 to 60 days active) required.
- DEA certification required before start date.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
