Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a CA license, two years of recent ICU experience, and required certifications for night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU of a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
- Patient population includes critically ill adults
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30)
- Weekend shifts are required
- Floating required to ICU/TELE units based on facility needs
- Uses Cerner charting system
- No specific scrub color required, but camouflage and character patterns are not allowed
- No on-call requirements
- Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed, including one holiday
- Free parking available onsite
- Locals are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Active and current CA RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Pending licenses not accepted
