We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant to join our expanding Orthopedic Surgery team. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision and guidance of an orthopedic physician
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and assist with diagnosis and treatment in both clinic and surgical settings
- Assist in surgical procedures, including suturing and injections, with training and support as needed
- Participate in patient education, counseling, and follow-up care
- Accurately document patient encounters in the medical record
- Work closely with physicians and the healthcare team in a collaborative, learning-focused environment to support positive patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- New graduates or experienced candidates are welcome.
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Illinois.
- Completion of an orthopedic surgery clinical rotation is preferred.
- Proficient in suturing, assisting with procedures, and administering injections.
