Schedule: Rotating Days / Evenings / Nights
- No straight shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays, on-call, call-back, and charge duties as unit needs dictate
- Assignment length: 17 weeks minimum (must extend through 1/10/2026 or later)
The Level II Registered Nurse provides safe, competent, and evidence-based patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role supports clinical excellence, teamwork, and professional growth, with opportunities to function as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member based on unit needs and experience.
Required Experience- 2+ years recent RN experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Must be comfortable working rotating shifts (D/E/N)
- Ability to support unit leadership needs (charge/preceptor roles as assigned)
- Active New York RN license (NY only – required)
- BLS (American Heart Association only)
- Deliver patient-centered care using established nursing standards
- Perform ongoing assessments and telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Support quality initiatives, service excellence, and professional development
- Participate in charge, preceptor, or committee roles as assigned
