Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring efficient material handling and safe operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: West Coxsackie, NY

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Operate within one or more areas in a continuous flow manufacturing process to meet production and quality standards.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor processes using meters, gauges, valves, and related controls to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Report malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments or repairs to equipment.
• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts, and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Previous experience in manufacturing operations is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
