Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a NY license and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) as part of the critical care float pool
- Hospital setting with critical care patient population
- Night shift position with hours from 19:00 to 07:30
- Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- More than three call outs within a 13-week contract will result in contract termination
- Travelers may not submit as part of a travel pair
- Competency testing for ICU is required with two attempts allowed
- Requested time off must be provided with submission
- Travelers must not reside within a 50-mile radius of specified New York counties
- Make-up shifts for missed work must be completed within six weeks of the last call out
- Only one application per traveler will be considered
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU experience required
- Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Medical exemptions for flu vaccine must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
