Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Long Term Care RN for a PM shift position requiring a WI or compact RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a skilled nursing facility providing long term care services
- Full-time PM shift from 2pm to 10pm
- Required to work every other weekend
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Responsible for timely communication to physicians and families regarding significant changes in resident condition
- Complete resident assessments and medication administration according to the 5 Rights
- Perform wound care and assessments as needed
- Assist CNAs with resident care and respond to call lights
- Lead and direct situations as the nurse on the floor
- Accurately maintain resident records and thorough charting
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation promptly
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
