Travel Nursing Job Details – Albuquerque, NM

• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87102 (New Mexico nursing jobs)
• Facility: Heart Hospital CVOR (On-Site)
• Position Type: CVOR Registered Nurse – Travel Contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 6, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:30 – 15:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2000 - $2050
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 1-6 CVOR cases/day (Hearts and Vascular)
• Call Requirement: Yes
• Float Requirement: Downtown OR only
• Orientation: 32 hours onsite

CVOR RN Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required); CNOR preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Ability to circulate and scrub in CVOR procedures
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must be able to float to Downtown OR as needed
• Locals within 50 miles not accepted

Key Responsibilities – CVOR Registered Nurse

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for cardiac and vascular surgeries (CABG, mitral valve replacement, AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy)
• Circulate and scrub in CVOR cases
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Float to Downtown OR within scope as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response)
• Document patient care using Epic charting system
• Support adult and geriatric patient populations
• Complete onsite orientation and required modules
