The role requires performing a variety of endoscopic interventions such as colonoscopy, EGD, and flexible sigmoidoscopy, while delivering high-quality care to veterans. Candidates must hold a valid medical license, DEA license, relevant certifications, and have a minimum of one year of gastroenterology experience.

Ghost RX is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist (Internal Medicine with a Subspecialty in Gastroenterology) to provide onsite clinical services to eligible veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs Finger Lakes Health Care System. ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive Gastroenterology clinical services including consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
Be present and on time for all scheduled clinics and procedures.
Perform the full range of endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to:
Colonoscopy (diagnostic, with biopsy, polyp/tumor removal, ablation, bleeding control)
Colonoscopy via colostomy
EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy) diagnostic, with biopsy, dilation, bleeding control, and lesion/polyp removal
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy with biopsy, snare, ablation, or bleeding control
PEG tube replacement
Unrestricted medical license in the United States
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with a Subspecialty in Gastroenterology (ABIM)
Current DEA License
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in gastroenterology practice preferred
Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Standard clinic schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week (flexible scheduling options may be available)
