RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 48 weekly guaranteed hours
• Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• 2+ years of telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Float requirements as needed/customary upon request
• Patient ratios typically 4-6:1
• Care for 50% medical / 50% telemetry adult patients only
• Work with standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Black scrub color required
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
• Contract duration 13-26 weeks
• Up to 5 days time off per 13-week period automatically approved
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Manager interview required within 24 hours of offer
• Perform direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
