About the Clinician's WorkdayThe role requires competency in low- to moderate-risk procedures such as laceration repair, peripheral IV placement, and simple fracture or dislocation reductions. Providers must also be able to perform higher-risk procedures including G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA use, paracentesis, chest tube insertion, and central or arterial line placement.
