A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing anesthesia care in a critical access hospital setting with full autonomy. Responsibilities include administering various anesthesia procedures such as spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks for a diverse patient population including adults, healthy pediatrics, and OB/GYN cases. The role involves working 4x10-hour shifts per week, managing multiple operating rooms, and participating in on-call duties with proficiency in obstetrics anesthesia.
Start Date: 09/01/2025
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week
Call required: Yes 1 weekday per week, 1 weekend per month (must be proficient in OB for call)
Setting: Critical Access Hospital
Supervision Model: Fully autonomous (1 MD, 4 CRNAs)
Patient Population: Adults and healthy pediatrics
Procedures: Spinals, OB, Epidurals, Endoscopy, Peripheral Nerve Blocks, Ultrasound-guided procedures
Preferred Skills: PICC line (preferred, not required)
Cases: Ortho, General, Podiatry, ENT, Healthy Peds, Urology, OB/GYN, Occasional Endoscopy (No Heads, Hearts, or Spine)
ORs: 3 ORs + Cysto + Endoscopy Suite
Case Volume: 5 20 cases/day (including Endo & Cataracts)
EMR: Epic
