Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit day shift position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active AL or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general Medical/Surgical unit on Floor 6 of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for diverse adult med/surg patient populations
• Time off requests (RTO) must be less than one week
• US Social Security Number is required for consideration; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Must provide valid Driver’s License and complete profile documentation
• No first-time travelers restrictions are specified

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Must not have gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years
• Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
