Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting with varying patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Acute care hospital setting including ICUs, cardiac, neuro, trauma, and orthopedics
- Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays
- Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30
- Typical caseload includes 9 evaluations with an expectation of completing 8 per day
- Cerner EHR is used in the facility
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for diverse inpatient cases
- Eligible candidates must not apply to more than one position within the system at a time
- No COVID-19 vaccination required as of July 1, 2023
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to the facility radius rule, which varies by state
- Two professional references, copy of license, certifications, and driver’s license required for consideration
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: ICUs, cardiac, neuro, trauma, or orthopedics
- Must have a valid US Social Security Number
- Must provide a US home address (no international addresses accepted)
