A Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is needed for a locum position near Shelton, WA, providing care in a rural, patient-focused environment with a caseload of 10-16 patients per day of all ages. The role requires an active nurse practitioner license, relevant certifications (BLS, DEA), and experience preferably in Indian Health or rural settings. The assignment runs from late September 2024 to early January 2025 with Monday to Friday 8-5 shifts and uses RPMS electronic medical records.
Locum FNP need near Shelton, WA
Client provides furnished cabin (not pet friendly) + rental or mileage and flights
Current, active client - They are in a beautiful part near the water in Skokomish, WA (30-40 miles from Shelton, WA)
FNP only (No PA or MD)
Start: September 23rd
End: January 3, 2025
LOA: 3 or 6 month assignment
Credentialing: 1-2 weeks
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8-5 (4 10hr days NOT available)
Patient Volume: 10-16 patients/day, MUST be comfortable seeing all ages, including some infants. Each patient gets a 30-minute minimum per appointment, sometimes up to 60-minutes, they are very patient-focused.
EMR: RPMS
Licensure: Active and clean WA license preferred due to insurance enrollment, or potentially getting a WA license if they have a compact RN license, but they will consider any state license due to urgent situation.
Certifications: BLS, DEA
Relevant Experience: Indian Health experience or Rural Health, comfortable working in a rural community, very patient focused, and treating all ages 0-100 (including some newborns).
Staff Mix: 1 MD, 1 APP, and RN/MA's on staff
