Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Resource Pool position in a Med/Surg Tele setting, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Resource Pool of a hospital environment
• Med/Surg Tele patient population
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Provide nursing care to a diverse adult patient population within the Resource Pool
• Must upload verification of licensure through NURSYS if available
• COVID vaccination documentation is required
• Accepts local candidates in IA and select states with local rates

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification required for RNs working in critical care areas such as CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, and SICU
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• License or certificate verification dated within 30 days of start date
