Overview: RiverWoods Durham is currently seeking a Security Staff person to join our team and help provide excellent and quality customer service in support of our residents and community. This is a 8 hour a week position with the potential to pick up additional shifts as they are available- the ideal candidate would be able to work overnight Friday into Saturday (midnight to 8am) Benefits: - 403(b) Retirement plan - Wellness Programs - On-site fitness opportunities - Employee meal program - Education assistance Responsibilities:
- Tour facility buildings and premises to prevent fires, theft, vandalism, and intruders; confront unauthorized persons for questioning as needed; report safety and/or fire hazards or security activities.
- Monitor status of lightbulbs, assist with floor care, remove trash/recycling from the building
- Maintains accurate work order logs and other required documentation
- Provides direct assistance to the Director of Facilities for special projects, annual preventative maintenance duties, or other tasks as assigned
- Assist with snow removal in the winter months to ensure safety for the community
- Assist Community Life or Campus Services team with other projects, room set-up, resident needs, or other requests
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- Minimum 1-year experience preferred
- CPR certification, or the ability to obtain one, required
