Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night position in Colorado, requiring a compact or CO RN license and current AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with postpartum and couplet care responsibilities
- Covers L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum patient needs
- Care provided for babies 32 weeks gestation and older
- Handles approximately 60-80+ deliveries per month
- 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and a call rotation typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
- Must provide couplet care and assist in a variety of settings including OR, PACU, and postpartum
- Works as part of a collaborative and supportive team focused on evidence-based care
- Must live at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
- Limited time off requests (RTO) considered for this assignment
- Facility offers rental housing options for travelers
Requirements
- Active Colorado or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years L&D nursing experience
- Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
- STABLE certification required
- Proof of seasonal flu vaccination required
