Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleRotating shifts including Day (07:00 - 19:30) and Night (19:00 - 07:30) shifts. Travelers must be flexible to meet the operational needs of the hospital.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythms.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in the coordination of care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation.
- One professional reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applying for.
