Dell Outdoor is hiring Pool, Spa & Outdoor Service Technicians to deliver high-quality service work on pools, spas, irrigation systems, and outdoor lighting. This role combines maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and installation duties across both residential service calls and Design & Build construction projects. You’ll work hands-on, outdoors, and directly contribute to creating and maintaining stunning outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Service & Installation Work
Support and design new system installations for Design & Build projects, understanding of automation systems to include programming and wiring.
Able to understand and install pool hydraulics.
Troubleshoot and perform minor pool equipment repairs; coordinate major repairs as needed.
Educate clients on equipment usage and automation controls.
Install and service automatic pool covers, pool and spa equipment.
Provide diagnostics, repairs, and installation of landscape lighting systems.
- Job Site Management
Follow work scopes and schedules in Aspire Mobile.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
Document all work performed, including materials used and photos, within Aspire software.
- Tools, Equipment & Materials
Operate and maintain company service vehicles and tools in a clean and safe manner.
Handle and store pool chemicals following safety protocols.
Notify the office of material shortages or equipment needs.
- Customer Service
Maintain professional, respectful interactions with all clients.
Provide service explanations when needed, and escalate detailed questions to Account Managers.
- Team Communication
Report daily to the Head of Property Services and PS Account Manager.
Flag recurring issues or warranty concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in pool, irrigation, or outdoor lighting service work.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic knowledge of mobile work order systems (e.g., Aspire or similar platforms).
- Preferred:
Familiarity with pool automation systems and automatic cover installations.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
