The Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner will work in a Level 2 and Level 3 NICU setting providing care for critically ill and recovering term and preterm infants. Responsibilities include delivery room management, patient assessments, ventilator management, intubation, and invasive procedure placements. The role requires a Master's degree, certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and licenses including Basic Life Support and Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

Opportunity Details
Network NICU Coverage (Level 3 NICU; 14 beds, expanding to 20 beds & Level 2 NICU; 7 beds under development)
2,000+ deliveries annually
Flexible shift combinations (8hr, 16hr, and 24hr shifts)
No outpatient clinic
Essential Responsibilities
Attending deliveries/delivery room management of all infants less than 35 weeks and other high-risk indications
Admissions including history and physical
Assessments and ongoing management of current NICU patients
Intubation
Umbilical line placement
Chest tubes
Arterial puncture
Arterial line placement
Ventilator management
Others as applicable

Certification(s) and License(s) Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania; Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
