The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care in an inpatient hospital setting, managing complex cases such as adult, obstetrical, neurosurgical, and orthopedic surgeries. Responsibilities include general anesthesia administration, pain management, ventilation and acute volume/BP evaluation, and arterial line placement under a supervised model. There are opportunities to work in high-acuity environments including trauma and ambulatory surgery centers, with schedules primarily during clinic hours and potential on-call duties.
Shift: Scheduled Clinic Hours
Description:
- Practice Setting - Inpatient
- Patients per shift - 4-5
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe - 90 days
Required Skills:
- General Anesthesia, Adult, Obstetrical Cases, Neurosurgical cases, Head,
- Spine, Thoracic cases (except open heart), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases,
- Pain management techniques, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Arterial Line placement
Other Details:
- Supervised model.
- Level 2 trauma with 15 ORs.
- 4 endo suites and service to other specialty areas.
- Highest needs are for scheduled cases, if a provider is willing to take calls, that would be valuable.
- Have an opportunity for a CRNA who is pediatric trained for ENT and other outpatient specialty areas in our ambulatory surgery locations.
