Orthopedic Surgeon Total Joint Reconstruction - Santa Fe, New MexicoPosition Details We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Total Joint Reconstruction to join our community-based, private, not-for-profit health system. Serving more than 300,000 residents across seven counties in Northern New Mexico, our organization is the region s only full-service healthcare provider and a Level III Trauma Center.You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing orthopedic team committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care. This opportunity offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment, with support from a 1:1 advanced practice provider and access to cutting-edge surgical technology including ROSA robotic systems.Position Details
- Perform total joint replacement surgeries using ROSA robots
- Manage 24-28 pre- and post-op patients on clinic days
- Participate in light phone-based call (1-week blocks, shared with 18 providers, no hospital visits required)
- Work at both the orthopedic clinic and main hospital campus (2.6 miles apart)
- Engage in monthly total joint committee meetings
- Utilize EPIC EMR
- Occasionally mentor family medicine residents Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (focus in Total Joint Reconstruction)
- Eligible for or hold a current New Mexico medical license
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Prefer 2+ years of experience, though new graduates are welcome to apply Benefits Details
