Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Perform 80-100 CT scans per day using GE and Phillips equipment
• Work with 2 CT scanners in department with current staffing of 7 full-time and 3 PRN technologists
• Conduct typical procedures including ABD/PEL, biopsies, heads, spines, brains, chest, and CTA scans
• Work with Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS system
• Shift coverage includes day shift (3 staff), evening (2 staff), night shift (1 staff), and weekend 12-hour shifts (2 staff)
• Weekend and 24-hour call responsibilities required
• Must have CT registry and current CT experience
• Virginia state license required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• GE or Phillips experience preferred
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be able to multitask, easily adjust to change, and work as a team player
• No floating to other areas required
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a comprehensive CT imaging department located on the first floor of the main hospital building. The department operates two advanced CT scanners and maintains high patient volume with modern equipment and technology. The facility utilizes current EMR systems and PACS technology to provide efficient patient care and imaging services to the community.
