Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Operating Room position in Mississippi requiring an active MS or compact RN license and three years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Day shift schedule: 06:30 to 15:00, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Call coverage required in addition to scheduled shifts
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• First time travelers are eligible for consideration
• Holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs
• Team-oriented work environment with a focus on surgical patient care

Requirements

• Active MS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years operating room nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent OR experience in the specialty required
• No gaps in work history equal to or greater than 90 days in the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Candidates with permanent staff employment at a CHS facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
