Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Instruments Assembler to join their team. As an Instruments Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Instruments Assembler
Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD
Pay Range: $21.82
Shift: Days (07:00am-3:30pm)
What's the Job?
- Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including wiring, component installation, and hand soldering.
- Follow diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to assemble electromechanical modules, boards, panels, and cables.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications and standards.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, and test experimental or prototype assemblies as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex issues related to instrument assembly operations.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required; 2.5 years of manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated environment is essential.
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Proficiency with mechanical tools such as torque drivers, gauges, and bits.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support continuous improvement initiatives.
