Opportunity
The Department of Anesthesia at Kaweah Health is currently recruiting for exceptional General Anesthesiologists to join its cohesive, exceptional, and innovative care team. The candidate will join a group of 12 anesthesiologists and over 20 CRNAs. Additionally, the candidate will be working with our ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program of 16 residents.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide anesthesia coverage (depending on subspecialty) in the following areas:
o General Surgery
o Vascular Surgery
o Orthopedic Surgery
o Podiatric Surgery
o Ophthalmological Surgery
o Gynecological Surgery
o Otolaryngological Surgery
o Plastic Surgery
o Urological Surgery
o Neurological Surgery
o Trauma Surgery
o Labor and Delivery Anesthesia - A mixture of supervising residents and doing own cases
• 10-hour shifts on non-call days
• An average of one 24-hour out-of-house call per week with resident physician
• Post-call day off
Requirements
- ASA Board Certification or Eligibility
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Active CA license prior to start date.
- Interest in teaching and residency education
Compensation
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- $280-$290/hour rate for hours worked in the Operating Room
- Potential to earn more by covering additional shifts. - up to $690k annually
- Up to $50k sign on bonus with 3-year full-time retention.
- Up to $100k loan repayment with a 4-year full time retention
- Additional compensation through the GME office for Core Faculty activities and responsibilities
- All compensation subject to market rate adjustment on an annual basis
