Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a level I trauma center with alternating day/night or night-only shifts and MA RN licensure required.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care level I trauma center
- Rotating day/night shift schedule with four-week rotations, or straight nights available
- Every other weekend and holiday availability required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Position involves providing emergency care in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma setting
- Candidates must be able to commute using public transportation or pay for public parking, as no validated parking is available on site
- Holiday coverage is required per unit schedule
- Timekeeping is conducted through the UKG/Kronos system
- Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at the time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- Current certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and seasonal flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
