Principal Accountabilities

  • This job allows the movement of product in the processing area with the use of a Forklift with other jobs assigned
  • Some roles require you to use a computer or a manual paper process to track processes and make reports
  • While performing the duties of a Forklift Operator, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment
  • Positions require standing, walking, or sitting the entire shift, the use of stairs, the ability to operate heavy equipment and have a driver’s license, and the use of PPE which is required in all areas of the facility
  • Perform repetitive tasks, forklift operation, tracking, reading, or creating reports manually or via computer, ensuring food safety and quality, cleanliness and housekeeping, maintaining a safe working environment

Required Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the US without the need of a Visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 Years old or older
  • This role requires the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be able to lift/stack boxes up to 90lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to work in a hot/cold environment
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Previous Experience as a forklift or dock operator
