Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and strong PCU/med-surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a PCU within a hospital environment
- Patient population is primarily progressive care, but may include med-surg as needed
- Estimated nurse to patient ratio is 1:4
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Floating to other units within the hospital system is required
- Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
- Responsible for providing patient care in a progressive care environment with rotating holiday coverage
- Must be able to float to units as needed within the hospital system
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or med-surg RN experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
