Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Acute Care – Nephrology/Med Surg Unit
• Unit Size: 21 beds (mostly private rooms)
• Assignment Duration: 18 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 4/13/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990-$2130
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday
• Charting System: EPIC
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs (per unit guidelines)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or proof of application (Illinois nursing jobs)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• General medical background required; nephrology or urology experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and dependability
• Ability to pass comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus)

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for ESRD, AKI, dialysis, post-transplant, and general medical overflow patients
• Conduct bedside reports and hourly rounding
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and respiratory therapists
• Administer medications and inhalers as needed
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Float to other general medical units as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Comply with hospital policies, dress code, and infection control standards
