Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Labor and Delivery position working weekend night shifts with BLS and ACLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery setting
- Patient population includes women in labor, postpartum, and newborns
- Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Assignment length is 12 weeks
- Responsible for providing safe and evidence-based nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients and newborns
- Works closely with interdisciplinary health care team and supervises support staff
- Must communicate effectively with patients, families, and coworkers
- No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
- Locals accepted as there is no radius rule mentioned
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license required and in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Acute care nursing experience preferred
- Basic computer and technical nursing skills required
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
