• Join a well-established, full spectrum mental health program.
• Employment with Samaritan Health Services allows you the unique opportunity to work with clinical and precepting psychiatry residents
• Monday-Friday, 8-5pm, 5 days a week
• See on average 10-12 patients daily, depending on appointment type
• 90% medication consultation/management; 10% therapy
• Minimal weekday call, after clinic hours call psychiatrists are on second call (back-up to psychiatry residents who take first-call)
• Work with 14 other MD/DO/PMHNP and 5 LCSW/PhD/LPC
• 34 patient contact hours

Location:Nestled between the Coast Range and the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean, Newport boasts some of the most breathtaking scenery on the central Oregon Coast with vast stretches of rugged cliffs, lush vegetation and sandy beaches. The temperate coastal climate allows for a variety of activities year-round including hiking, whale watching, golfing, shopping, deep-sea fishing and surfing.
