Position Overview
HumanEdge is seeking an experienced Travel CCU RN with CABG recovery experience for a hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident in managing post-operative cardiac patients, delivering high-acuity care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a critical care environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care for post-CABG and other cardiac patients in the CCU
Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and post-operative recovery
Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions per protocol
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members
Document patient care accurately and timely
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and critical care standards
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of CABG recovery / cardiac ICU experience – Required
Active RN license (MS or compact) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
BLS (AHA) – Preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
