A specialty healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensedOrthopedic Surgeon to join one of their practices in Manhattan. In this role, theOrthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for working with personal injuryand ambulatory surgery cases at the practice.
Responsibilities:
The Orthopedic Surgeon
- Conduct thorough medical interviews and physical examinations to assess patients with joint-related issues
- Review patients' medical histories and diagnostic tests to make informed decisions about treatment options
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to diagnose joint conditions and determine the extent of damage
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, taking into account factors like age, overall health, and lifestyle
- Educate patients about their joint conditions, treatment options, and potential outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
